Dr Pepper StarCenters are entrenched in the US Figure Skating program for skaters that are truly looking for the competitive track. We have specialized figure skating sessions on a daily basis at each location including on and off ice classes to enhance every aspect of the skater’s training regimen. We are the home to many competitors that attend regional and national events on an annual basis. Every year we have skaters relocate to our fabulous facilities to train for the upcoming competitive season.

Our staff at Dr Pepper StarCenters of over 80 skating instructors are all trained and accredited thru US Figure Skating, The Professional Skaters Association and the Ice Skating Institute. All instructors have passed a rigorous background check and carry personal liability insurance for the safety of all of our skaters. All coaches must have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience before applying to become a staff member. We have so many coaches with impressive resumes; they have successfully taken skaters to regional, sectional, national and international competitions. Many of our staff members were National Champions in their home country and have now brought their expertise to our facilities for the best training available in the Southwest.

Dr Pepper StarCenters are home to the Stars Figure Skating Club of Texas. Stars FSC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of and participation in the sport of amateur figure skating. Headquartered at the Dr Pepper StarCenter - Frisco, they have been a member club of US Figure Skating since 1975. With approximately 600 members, SFSCT ranks as the fourth largest figure skating club in the nation. SFSCT has been the proud host or co-host of the following figure skating events in our area: 1998 Junior Olympics, 1999 North American Challenge, 2003 State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 2004 Midwest Sectional Figure Skating Championships, National Showskate 2004, 2005 Midwest Section Synchronized Skating Championships, and the 2006 Southwestern Regional Figure Skating Championships.
